Build Your Own Travel System

What is a travel system?

A travel system pairs a full-size stroller with an infant car seat that can be attached to the stroller. Travel systems serve two purposes—making a stroller safe to use during the newborn months, and providing a convenient way to go from car to stroller and back again.

How do traditional travel systems work?

A traditional travel system bundles a stroller and infant car seat together. Many parents choose their car seat first, but are then limited to whichever stroller the brand pairs it with—often one that's lighter on features and customization options.

What makes Mockingbird's Build Your Own Travel System different?

Mockingbird's Build Your Own Travel System means you don't have to settle for whichever stroller is paired with the car seat you chose. Mockingbird is compatible with 50+ infant car seats — more than any other stroller on the market — so you can pair your car seat with a full-featured, award-winning stroller you'll love using for years.

Infant

Stroll from birth with the infant car seat of your choice. The Build-Your-Own Travel System includes a Car Seat Adapter, so you can click in and get moving.

Parent-facing

Younger toddlers love facing you while strolling. With five recline positions, you can keep them comfortable while snacking, resting, or engaging with you.

World-facing

When they're ready to face forward, the seat can be reversed in seconds with our simple one-touch buttons.

Infant + Toddler

Add the 2nd Seat Kit to expand the Single-to-Double Stroller to seat two riders. The flexible double mode setups allow you to use the Car Seat Adapter or another of our infant accessory options.

2 Toddlers

Siblings can often go from besties to bickering in seconds, so reversible seats let you change the Single-to-Double Stroller's setup fast—forward-facing, parent-facing, facing each other, or apart.

Older Siblings

Add on the Riding Board to give older siblings a fun way to ride along—while keeping them close by.

6 reasons parents choose Mockingbird

Unlike the basic strollers included with most travel systems, Mockingbird's full-featured strollers are thoughtfully designed to take you from your first family walk to the toddler years and beyond.

Head-to-toe sun protection

The only stroller with built-in head-to-toe UPF 50+ sun protection, Mockingbird's FullShade™ system keeps your little one cool and comfortable on sunny days with maximum shade coverage and ventilation to promote airflow.

The smoothest stroll

All-wheel suspension and shock-absorbing tires (that can never go flat) handle bumps and curbs with ease to ensure a smooth, comfortable ride. Lockable front wheels provide extra stability on uneven terrain.

Storage for everything

An easy-access XL stroller basket holds 25 lbs to fit your diaper bag, toys and even groceries. New in-seat child pockets and back-seat parent pockets keep essentials like snacks, phones, and tiny treasures within arm’s reach.

Easy one-hand fold

As a parent, it’s rare not to have your hands full. So we designed our stroller to fold easily with one hand and stand on its own.

Thoughtful upgrades

It's the little things that take a stroller from functional to "omg they thought of everything." Our 3.0 models feature a magnetic buckle, no-rethread straps with reflective piping, and an adjustable-height canopy.

Luxury for less

High-end features don't have to come with a sky-high price tag. As a brand built on a direct-to-consumer model, we're able to price our stroller hundreds of dollars lower than any other stroller with similarly premium materials and functionality—resulting in what we believe is by far the best value for today's parents.
